The rubber covered Outland X allows for rough and tough handling and the binoculars are waterproof and fogproof, as well as being nitrogen purged for using in all-weather environments.

• Multi-coated lenses (MC): Coatings improve colour, contrast, and brightness. For (MC), at least one glass surface is coated with multiple coatings, and could be considered as “mid-range” specification for coatings.
• 4m close focus: This is the minimum distance you must be from an object to achieve focus. This is great for closer subjects such as flowers and insects.
