The sleek, clean design of the bag doesn’t mean that your gear is compacted and inaccessible when you’re on the move – the Stratos 34 benefits from large additional pockets in the lid and front for your odd bits and spare layers, as well as a vertical zip which allows access directly into the main compartment.
Your sleeping bag – often a pain to organise in dark conditions – can be kept in a separate area with a bellowed divider, and there is a quickly deployed rain cover at your disposal if the clouds gather. There are even attachments for trekking poles and ice axes.
